Last Day of Work

This is what I wore to work before I said Sayonara for 2 whole weeks while I Vaca'd on Maui. Funny thing about this top... I had come to the realization that I have a spending problem/clothes additiction... this dawned on me as I was walking into Marshalls... I had picked up 3 tops, and was being good by only grabbing 3... while the hubs checked out the mens section... we have goodies in tow all set to check out, after trying very hard to not give each other the "You don't need that look", then we see the line.. it wouldve taken us 2 hours to check out, so with a heavy heart I put my 3 tops down and walked out... Knowing that my time meant more to me that clothes was a good thing... well sort of... i went back the next day and scoured the racks until I found 2 of the 3 items i had the day before... Hey thats progress in my book!

This outfit is my go to staple. When I am half asleep, having a fashion blank, or have nothing else clean. I can always pair up 2 basics and come out with an outfit that is cute yet dressy enough to go to work in.

That is like the funnest song ever... I know its not about the color but hey... when you walk into work looking this bright you have to just sing it all day long. Stripes and brights... can anyone say "Winning!"

High Summer Boot Scootin'

In retrospect I love how the neon contrasts with the darker muted tones of the outfit... it clashes in that on purpose "I meant to do that" way.. I do distain this purse because it is a bottomless pit (think Hermiones purse in HP7).. And since I am of the bigger the purse the more I have to stick in it clan. So i can never find anything.

I honestly cant remember what was on the floor that as soo interesting. However interesting things about the dress.. It used to be a Maxi number. I however have this strange notion that if its to be considered a Maxi you cannot see my feet and the dress much touch the ground. Since when this was Maxi Imposter it did neighter of those things i thought it was still a great print and decided to chop off the bottom and remove the neck strap... I am much happier with the result.

Yup I wore this to my bachelorrette party, that my sister in law threw for me. We had a paint party.. (and no we did not paint a naked guy.. though oddly that was my moms suggestion) the party was at my house, so after outfit pics I went back inside and threw on some flats because I didnt want the heels messing up the floors.
