You know you hate those middle temps days when its just too cold to wear a skirt but too warm to wear boots.. This was one of those days. I am the type of person that is always naturally cold.. So I threw on my winter coat over this and was sweating by the time I walked up to the building.. Genius aren't I??

My totally helpless impression... were you convinced? Ya I know I wasn't either.. The pouty face may have worked when I was 5 but I think wore off somewhere in High School. Shucks! This is what my studio looked like after 2 weeks of living in the new house.. I am sure my expression makes sense now. I was taking pics in here as we had workers painting the bonus room and I didn't want to seem like the pretentious chick that comes home from work and takes picture of herself.. I mean they have support groups for people like that, not that I know about that or anything... ::cough:: hahah jk!

Who says you can't be stylish when cleaning a house.. Well you guessed it I rocked this to help Ed Clean the old Condo and then while we ransacked IKEA for the 3rd time last month. Hey it made the icky nasty dreary day that much nicer.

Yup totally robbed Kendi from Kendi Everyday when it came to this outfit.. I saw the combo she did & was like wait I have all of that.. Then I proceeded to copy the heck out of it.. So heres my version... Her's looks waay better as her Hubby takes her pix.. my photo helper has 3 legs and a timer.. :( Wore this on Casual Friday to work then to date night after it was a nice little break for Ed & I to not pack and do house stuff. After 2 weeks of non-stop-neurotic unpacking mode. I think one of us was about to explode..

Ok I guess wearing sunglasses indoors can only be pulled off in Jersey (or warehouse raves, but I digress). So not by Cuban chicks in work clothes at her house. Not happening. But I am all for trying new things.. This one I think I will stay away from (atleast it was still daylight out, it can always be worse). The look was just a preppy little number that was one of those stripped down back to basics that I came up with while I was drowsily dressing that morning.

I had also yet to figure out how to get the hall light to work.

Ok Sorry the pix are soo dark but I hadn't figured out where all the light switches in the new place are. So the natural light from the odd placed windows had to do.. I chose this spot because it was the only boxless place in the house that there was.. I think it kinda stuck as the new go to spot for photos. This is at the end of the hall outside my studio.. So close enought to grab my camera & tripod for a few quick pics before changing and jumping into my Suzy homemaker role. And yes the battery in the watch is still dead.

I am soo crushing on the nudes and pale colors this spring.. I love how they can soften and dress up about anything. I am also loving the tribal prints coming back into rotation. So I can say I had a fling with no other than this Spring's fashion trends.

I don't know what possed me to wear red tights to work one day but I did it. It was a little odd and slightly less dressed up than I normally am but hey I had sexy face all day so ::shrugs shoulder:: Meh! Though when I reminisce (yes I googled the correct way to spell that) about this outfit I have an itch to say the pledge of allegience.. but oh welll..

P.S. This was my interim place for shoots as my living room was slowly turning into the box monster that was multiplying uncontrollably.

Hehe if you read the caption for how old these pants are I would get a gold star just for the fact that they still fit.. These are to date my favorite pair of dress pants. They are this great stretcy material that fits like a dream. The material also works great because they don't wrinkle so they can go folded in my closet, after just being pulled out of the dryer... Anything dressy that doesn't have to be dry- cleaned it at the top of my list. !

Something about this outfit screams 90s to me. I am not sure if it is the baggy pants the off the shoulder baggy sweater, or the suede pumps. But I think this outfit embodied the 90s in all of it gloriousness.
