Next Up..

Current Read:  The Named- Marianne Curley.

This one is up I haven't had time to read lately due to the holiday craziness. But I have a new book on the shelf that I am just itching to read. So I will share my heart felt opinions about this series as soon as I complete it. I have read other works by this author that I absolutely loved and spoke with the author who mention this other series she wrote. So wish me luck I'll be glad to share soon.
Watch Me Now: Ghost Adventures...ok I have become addicted to this show for some bizarre reason, it tends to totally creep me out but I can't stop watching it. (yes, its on as I type).
Gossip Girl: my cousin got me addicted to this over Thanksgiving weekend.. yup, I'm that girl now.
Those are the two newbies, and sit happily waiting to be watched on my DVR.

Nose Stuck in a Book..

Completed Cresendo, it was just as much of a page turner as the first of the seriers Hush Hush. I can't wait for the next installment Tempest to come out next Fall.
Just Finished: Tantalize by Cynthia Leitich Smith..
This was a pretty simple read that I topped off in just one day. However, as with all the other quick read I could not put it down if I tried..

Current Read: The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson
Well this is out of my typical line of reading. It kicks most of my collection in the teeth. Its in your face, brash and I absolutely love it... It truly is a breath of fresh air and I am only half way through... best part is it was a $3 bin find at borders... So a great read on the cheap!

Read & Read

Moving right along in my collection of reading material. I have,

Just finished : The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan.
I like it and finished it in less than a week. I have to admit that there were a few twists that bothered me because they went against the grain of traditional Chick lit developement. That however did not stop me from delving into the next installment of the series

Current Read: The Dead-Tossed Waves by Carrie Ryan
I should be finishing this one in the next few days and will move on to the Sequel of Hush, Hush that I finished in just 1 day last week.
Up Next:  Cresendo by Becca Fitzpatrick

Reas. Watch. Plan- November 2010

Fall is finally here. Time for for tights, boots, sweaters, bon fires, and hot cocoa. While the leaves are turning and everyone is starting to bundle up, I have a few things in the works...

Review: I just finished The Exiled Queen: A Seven Realms Novel by Cinda Williams Chima.

It was a delightful page turner that did not allow me to put it down until I finished.. I am now anxiouslt awaiting the next book in the series.

Current Read: Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzgerald.

As you can see I am moving my way steadily through the YA section at the bookstore.. I know YA fiction is one of my greatest vices, but I think that the worlds that are created here are so colorful and imaginative that it helps to get away from the reality of being a grown up in everyday life.

Watch me now: Dexter, the Vampire Diaries, House, Lie to Me, and the Big Bang Theory.

New Obsession: TLC's Sister Wives: I am just oddly fascinated by this show, Much to my bf's demise. I just don't understand how a woman can happily live in this lifestyle since it is so contrary to my own and I do love learning about new cultures and how they differ from my current understanding of their stereotypes.

Travels: Planning a winter trip to the BlueRidge Mountains in Ashville, Along with a trip to the Biltmore Estate for some amazing pitures and wine tasting.
Also, a New Years Trip the a cabin in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee with  the bf my brother and sister-in-law.
